In the over-60s national pairs area final Slade's Ron Adams and Brian Tofield lost to T. Osborn and D.Harding. Buckingham Westend Ladies were beaten by Winslow Ladies.

Another close game saw Slade lose out to Westenders 80-73 at home on March 4.
