Cricket: Buckingham draw with Bicester

Buckingham Town 1st XI kept their lead at the top of the Cherwell League Division One on Saturday (04/07)as they drew with basement team Bicester & North Oxford in a tightly contested derby game.
The Chesterton match was dominated by two superb centuries, Hatwell scoring 103 not out for Buckingham as they compiled 256-5.

Bicester replied with 215-7, Bradshaw hitting an unbeaten 101. Gear grabbed 5-56 for the visitors.

In Division Three, Twyford remained leaders over Wolverton with a win against Bledlow Village.

Hiram Shallow stroked a fine 136 for Twyford, with Baker hitting 58, as they made 260-5. Bledlow made 256-9.
