Cricket: Buckingham surrender top spot

Buckingham Town 1st XI lost top spot to Dinton in the Cherwell League Division One on Saturday after drawing with their title rivals.
Hosts Dinton edged the game despite another tremendous bowling performance by Town's Vish Valambhia, who grabbed 7-77 including a hat-trick.

King hit 90 for Dinton and Sutliff 34 as they posted 238-9. Town replied with 214-8, Leigh Tomlinson and Graham Judd scoring 51 runs apiece and Brook Hatwell 50.

But it was not quite enough to win the game, with Dinton gaining 16 points to Town's 11. Dinton are now three points ahead of Buckingham at the top of the table.

Basement side Bicester & North Oxford lost at Cumnor, who are in third place.Bicester made 157 compared to Cumnor's 217-6.
