ARDLEY United won 4-2 against Bicester Town on Monday to grab their first win of the new campaign.
Four second half goals scored by Jason Castello, Tom Green, Adam Garner and Murray Nicholls sunk Bicester, who replied through Ben Williams and substitute John Umney.
Under new boss Kevin Brock, Ardley outplayed Town, particularly after the break,
in this contest between the two Hellenic League Premier Division clubs. For Bicester it was a bank holiday to forget with two defeats in succession.
After a first half which ended goalless, the game exploded into life shortly after the break.
Castello broke through the Bicester defence to drill a low shot past keeper Tom McNamara.
In the 61st minute, Tom Green put the visitors further ahead with a fine shot into the top right hand corner of the net, following some good interplay around the Bicester box.
Town hit back a minute later when Williams ran into the Ardley box, fought off several tackles and lashed a powerful shot past keeper Lee Parrack.
Ardley were undaunted and continued to take the game to Bicester. Nicholls, who had a good game despite a first half booking, then floated a corner kick into the path of team-mate Adam Garner, who headed home for a 3-1 scoreline in he 76th minute.
With six minutes left Ardley hit their fourth with a well-worked goal, despite the efforts of Bicester to reverse the deficit. Danny Mason went on a run and squared the ball from the edge of the box to the advancing Nicholls, who made no mistake and buried it into the net.
In the 90th minute substitute John Umney netted for Bicester.
