Football: Brackley stay unbeaten in friendlies

BRACKLEY Town stayed unbeaten in pre-season friendlies with a 2-2 draw at Woodford United on Tuesday following a 7-2 demolition of Abingdon United last Saturday.
Chrissy Harper was one of Brackley's scorers in Tuesday's game as the honours were shared.

In Saturday's Abingdon encounter new boy Justin Marsden grabbed a hat-trick, along with Tom Winters, while Danny Spencer also scored for the Southern League Premiership side.
Brackley drew 2-2 recently with Peterborough United.

Saints complete their pre-season with a visit to Leighton Town on Saturday (09/8), kick-off 3pm.

Brackley start their league campaign with a trip to Welsh side Merthyr Tydfil on Saturday, August 16, kick-off 3pm.

Brackley Town Ladies are recruiting players for the new season. Players must be aged 14 and above and available for training on Wednesdays and matches on Sundays. Anyone interested sh
