WINSLOW United and Mursley United enjoyed success over the bank holiday with two wins apiece in the Molten Spartan South Midlands League.
Resurgent Winslow saw off Bedford FC at home 3-1 on Monday following a 2-1 win at Sun Postal Sports last Saturday.

Carl Rogers, Michael Ainger and Chris Hill scored for Winslow against Bedford and Paul Talbot and Andy Wright were
on target in the win against Sports to lift Winslow into the top six in the table.

Buckingham Athetic went down 1-0 at home to Bedford Town Reserves in Division One last Saturday.

In Division Two, Mursley completed their second home win in 48 hours with a 1-0 success over local rivals Padbury United on Monday. A solid performance was capped by a Steve Williams goal in the 18th minute.

Mursley grabbed a 4-2 home victory over Totternhoe the previous Saturday. They quickly went 3-0 up in the first half with goals from Andre Brown, Ed Mills and a wonder-strike from defender Billy Wilson. Jacob Kasprzyk added a fourth late in the game.

Padbury grabbed a thrilling 5-4 win at Pitstone & Ivinghoe on Saturday. Their scorers were Ian Fraser, Steve Keane, Greg Coppock, Kevin Millington and Colin Wynne, four of the goals coming after the break.
