MARSH Gibbon FC's Marcelle Turner is celebrating winning the North Bucks & District League Linesman of the Year award for the third time.
The 43-year-old mother-of-two has been a lineswoman for the Intermediate Division outfit for around 20 years and last season only missed two games.
She said: "I was surprised to win the award again, but at the same time absolutely delighted.
"I'm out in all weathers - rain, wind and sun. I love the job and am a big supporter of the club.
"I always try to be fair when I raise my flag during a game. I can only give what I see."
Mrs Turner is one of two female 'linos' in the league, which has four divisions and takes in North Bucks and Northants teams.
She is also the club's secretary, a former chairman and a qualified referee.
Her involvement with the club is a real family affair.
Her husband, Nick, plays football for Marsh, along with her son, Steven, 19, who was awarded player of the year this season.
Her mother Esme, also helps out and has a life-long connection with the club.
The club runs two adult teams and several boys' teams including under-8s, under-13s and and under-16s.
New players are welcome to join.
