Brackley Town bounced back to winning ways with a 3-2 success at Chippenham Town on Saturday.
Mark Rawle, Elliott Sandy and Ollie Burgess sealed victory with three first half goals to keep Saints in second spot in the Zamaretto Premier Division.
There was also joy for Buckingham Town as they secured a 3-1 home victory over Eynesbury Rovers in the UCL Division One to move upto fifth in the table.
James Bishop opened the scoring in the fourth minute for the Robins, with Batt levelling for the visitors 12 minutes later. John Wigglesworth put the hosts 2-1 ahead in the 39th minute and Scott Newbould sealed the win five minutes from full time.
In the South Midlands Division One, Buckingham Athletic returned to form with a 4-0 win at Brache Sparta. Scott Latham, Jamie O'Callaghan and Ollie Prentice (2) fired home the goals.
There was success also for Division Two sides, Padbury United and Mursley United. Padbury edged The 61 Fc Luton 2-1 at home, Hughes and Nicholls netting, while Mursley were 4-1 home winners over Old Bradwell, Mills (2), Wardell, Kasprzyk the scorers and Maddigan netting for Bradwell.
In the Soccer Kits Plus Supplementary Cup preliminary round, Launton Sports lost 4-0 at home to Thame United.
Fellow Hellenic League sides Bicester Town and Ardley United saw both their cup matches fall victim to waterlogged pitches, Ardley at home against Fairford Town (Bluefin Challenge Cup second round) and Cirencester United v Bicester (Soccer Kits Supplementary Cup preliminary round)
