Youth football: Ville youngsters receive awards

MORETONVILLE Junior Football Club celebrated the end of their season with over 800 players and parents assembling at Buckingham Community Centre for the presentation of awards.
Local MP John Bercow, Buckingham Mayor Howard Mordue and MK Dons player Sam Baldock were among the guests who presented prizes to the players.
The club was also honoured to have at the awards the family of the recently deceased and much respected club coach of 30 years, Tom Goom.
The family were pleased to receive a long service award which the club had planned to make to Tom. Club Chairman Kim Hassell said: "The club owes a huge debt to Tom and it was really great to see all the youngsters give Tom's family a warm welcome."
