PLANS for 26 new homes off Halse Road in Brackley have been submitted to the planning authority.

This month Banbury planning consultants Berry Morris submitted an outline planing application to South Northants Council for the three acre site which would share a boundary with the proposed 1,000 home Radstone Fields development.

Last May SNC planning officers met with Bob Sutton, planning consultants for Berry Morris.

While officers told him it represented a ‘logical and well integrated site’ that would ‘round off’ the northern expansion in a suitable manner, they recommended an application be delayed until negotiations over Radstone Fields are complete.

Mr Sutton is confident an agreement, over how much the developers of Radstone Fields contribute to Brackley’s infrastructure, is near completion.

He said: “After an expensive application process and two years of planning the Radstone Fields development will go ahead.”

Mr Sutton said their preparatory work, including ecological surveys, had an expiry date and that the plans were in line with the Government’s strategy of urban, over rural expansion.
