A business near Towcester which has risen from the ashes of a fire in September has been recognised on twitter by an underwear mogul who has 30,000 followers.
On September 29 Dr Nicola Morrow, founder of www.MumStuff.co.uk received a 5.30am call alerting her to the blaze in the unit next to hers at the Pury Hill Business Park.
After hurrying to the scene she thought all was lost when confronted with seven fire engines, a mobile control room and an ambulance.
Dr Morrow said: “The unit next door was completely and utterly destroyed. It seemed as if by miracle that the maternity unit was still standing.”
However all her stock and office equipment was written off by smoke damage and a return to the unit was unlikely due to structural damage.
But after finding a temporary home, and with the help of her network of local mums, she had the business up and running again within the week.
The MumStuff story captured the attention of Ann Summers and Knicker Box boss Jacqueline Gold who promotes her favourite female entrepreneurs on Twitter, #wow.
