Nine new affordable homes homes in Weston-on-the-Green have been completed.

The properties have been developed by the Sanctuary Group. Construction of the £1.4 million scheme started in March last year following consultation with the Duchy of Cornwall, and liaison with the parish council and Cherwell District Council.

The development has been built by Leadbitter with investment from the Homes and Communities Agency under the Affordable Homes Programme.

Jonathan Mullins, Sanctuary’s head of development for the area, said: “We are proud to have created these new homes in Weston-on-the-Green and would like to thank our partners for their support throughout the process. Our aim was to build a mix of affordable new homes, sympathetically designed to fit comfortably alongside existing village architecture. We hope that those moving in will enjoy their new homes and all that this rural community has to offer.”
