THE latest figures show that reports of anti-social behaviour in south Northants and Daventry have fallen by more than a fifth.

While often recorded as the kind of crime that concerns residents in the district the most, the Daventry and District Community Safety Partnership has discovered a 23 per cent drop in reports compared to last year, at the same as burglaries dropped by three per cent.

Ian Vincent, chairman of the partnership, said anti-social behaviour was the biggest issue reported by respondents in a recent survey and added: “As a result this has been our main area of focus over the past 12 months so we are very pleased with these very positive results.”
