AN appeal against the refusal of planning permission for a traveller site between Nash and Great Horwood has been lodged.
An application for change of use of land from agricultural to a residential caravan site for 11 mobile homes, 11 touring caravans and 11 utility dayrooms was submitted last year, but was refused planning permission by Aylesbury Vale District Council.
The applicants are now appealing the decision. A hearing is to be held on a date to be decided.
The application received opposition from local residents including Great Horwood and Nash Parish Councils on grounds of visual impact and sustainability.
