ARDLEY United returned to winning ways on Tuesday in the Premier Division with a 2-0 home win over Flackwell Heath after crashing out of the FA Vase 3-1 last Saturday to Reading Town.

Troy Bryan and Ryan Brooks were Ardley’s first half scorers against Flackwell, who lead the table with Ardley in second.

Against Reading in the Vase, the visitors went 3-0 up in the first half, Spence hitting a brace and Lewis also scoring. Stuart Bridges fired a consolation in the 76th minute.

Ardley entertain Thame United this Saturday in the Bluefin Insurance Brokers Challenge Cup second round, kick-off 3pm.
