After a sell out run in Oxford last year, Flintlock Theatre will bring their production of the classic comedy The Government Inspector to Buckingham next month.

Flintlock’s trademark dance and mad-cap storytelling style creates a hilarious experience, punctuated by a furious Klezmer soundtrack.

Robin Colyer, director said: “ What I love most about this production is that it works on two levels. The story and the characters are bonkers, delightfully entertaining and easy to follow for adults and children alike, whilst the sharp satire ticks along underneath. It’s a joy for audiences and a heck of a lot of fun for performers too.”

Nikolai Gogol’s play will be performed at Roxburgh Theatre, Stowe School on Thursday, October 10, at 7.30pm.

There are also a few tickets remaining for The UK Touring Theatre Company’s performance of Strindberg’s Miss Julie on Monday, September 30.

Tickets for both events cost £12, or £10 for concessions, from the Stowe School box office on 01280 818012.
