The Buckingham School held its annual sports day last Friday, as the school’s finale to National School Sports Week.
Hamilton House was the overall winner of the day and a number of school records were broken, despite dreadful weather conditions.
All Year 7 to 10 students competed in various athletic and fun sport activities.
In the afternoon the elite races took place , with many close and exciting finishes.
The event was supported by Lloyds TSB and Tesco, who supplied the students with water.
A school spokesman said: “The students were inspiring and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the competitive day.”
