WOULD-BE cyclists can dig rusty bikes out of the garden shed and bring them to Bicester’s Biggest Bike Fix II this Saturday, June 24.
The event, running from 10am to 3pm at the Methodist Church Hall in Sheep Street, has been organised by Grassroots Bicester as part of National Bike Week.
‘Bike doctors’ will be available to get old cycles back into roadworthy conditions, and younger visitors can add some funky touches to their wheels.
Demonstrations of cargo bikes and velocycles can also be seen.
Visitors can get information on the Cycle for Bicester Challenge and the new cycle loan scheme, and competitions and prizes will be available.
Grassroots Bicester will also host one of its popular freecycle events.
