THE Bishop of Buckingham, the Rt Rev Dr Alan Wilson, will consecrate a new area of graveyard at the Church of St John the Evangelist in Radclive this Sunday, May 20.

The new plot has been donated by a local landowner, and will allow plenty of space for future burials. The consecration begins at 6pm.

Radclive has also been presented with a bound volume, with colour plates and illustrations, following two years of research into the parish records.

The research was carried out by the Buckingham branch of the National Association of Decorative and Fine Arts Societies (NADFAS).

Copies have also been sent to the Victoria and Albert Museum and to the National Monuments Record, English Heritage’s public archive.
