Brackley boy’s sage advice will be missed

THE family of an 88-year-old who was born in Brackley have paid tribute to him after he passed away in Chester last month.

Linda Holmes, daughter of Leonard Bedden said: “He could be stubborn but he was always there for his family, he was clever and a valued advisor.”

Before leaving the town to join the RAF Mr Bedden lived in Halse Road and had worked at the Brackley Coop.

His family are keen to know why he had the nickname Shaggy Bedden. He was the only child of Harry and Alice Bedden..
