Eight teams of intrepid individuals battled it out last Sunday at Winslow’s It’s A Knockout fun day in aid of Alec’s Angels.
About 800 people attended the event, and eight teams had a splashing time taking part in the contest, with the team from Green Light Autos, in Buckingham, emerging victorious.
The event has raised over £3,000 for the Winslow-based charity, which helps children and their families who are affected by childhood cancer.
Organiser Brian Jarvis said: “It was definitely a very big success. It was so much fun. Everybody enjoyed the day.
“The weather wasn’t great but it didn’t spoil it.
“I want to thank everybody who was there. I hope they all had a good time and I thank the Alec’s Angels fundraising committee.
“If people would like to sign up for next year, if we get enough takers we will do it again.”
Mr Jarvis thanked the teams, from Green Light Autos, Boots in Aylesbury, the Churchill Hospital, Steeple Claydon, Envirocab, Kate Aldersley, Barclays Bank in Oxford and Alec’s Misfits.
