GOOD causes in Brackley are beginning to take advantage of a scheme which could provide £300 worth of discounts to anyone who donates to them.

This month the Advertiser reported the launch of the Peel2Save scheme which produces booklets with 64 money saving offers from businesses in the town and surrounding area. Charities are given the booklets on a sale or return basis and sell them for £10, keeping half the money for their cause.

This week Julie Moore, organiser of the Brackley Community Carnival said they aim to raise £5,000 cards to fund next year’s carnival by selling the cards which are also being sold by the Friends of Brackley Library, the SDR4SEB campaign and supporters of Katharine House Hospice.
