The chief executive of Barratt Developments paid a visit to Bicester to view one of the company’s latest projects.
Mark Clare saw homes in the De Lacy Fields area of Bicester’s Kingsmere development and met the local sales team.
Mr Clare said he was proud to see the results so far, adding: “This development will help create the new village of Kingsmere along with primary schools and sporting facilities providing a new community with affordable and well-designed new homes.”
David Wilson Mercia is building more than 130 new homes at Kingsmere.
Mr Clare described the new homes, which start at £300,000, as “truly aspirational”.
Steve Barton, sales manager for David Wilson Mercia, said he was pleased to show Mr Clare around De Lacy Fields.
“We have had a lot of interest from people outside the area keen to invest or make a new home near Bicester. De Lacy Fields’ location is perfect for commuters as it’s near to the M40 with good access to London,” he added.
The Kingsmere development is overseen by Countryside Properties.
