A BUCKINGHAM dental practice has received national recognition from the British Dental Association.
Meadow Walk Dental Practice has joined the association’s good practice scheme. To join the scheme the dentist has to comply with 100 requirements over the past 10 months.
Practice manager Jenny Yuill said: “It has been a lot of hard work, but everyone has found it worthwhile and we really do feel that we have improved our service to patients.”
A patient of the practice, Sue Barlett, said: “It’s reassuring that the practice can show they provide a good service.”
Robert Cookson, the practice owner, said: “We involve all our patients in their treatment from the start. We discuss the options available and give them all the information they need to decide which is best for them. They receive a written outline of the agreed treatment, how many appointments they need and what it will cost.”
