Would-be entrepreneurs can learn how to make business dreams a reality at a workshop in Bicester next month.
‘What kind of entrepreneur could you be?’ is the follow-up session to a July event led by entrepreneur specialist Iain Scott.
It will be held in the John Paul II Centre in Bicester, running from 10am to 4pm on Tuesday, September 18.
Melanie Charles, 40, with her business partner Jane Slade, is a past success of the workshops and says they gave her the confidence to launch crafts company Here’s one I made Earlier.
The new business will offer training in traditional craft-making skills,
Mr Scott aims to give people faith in their own abilities and ideas to inspire them to take the plunge.
“It was really interesting how Iain made each of us think about our passions in life and our business strengths and how that links in with starting your own business and succeeding.
“He certainly made us think about the money aspect of business and since attending we have already tweaked a few things and saved ourselves a few hundred pounds each month on overheads,” said Ms Charles, encouraging others to attend the free sessions.
The event will also be held in Banbury on September 17.
