A Bicester company which works for the water industry has been presented with an award by a central London estate.

TWC (Services) Ltd, which is based on Telford Road, has been running for more than 20 years and recently received an Outstanding Contractors Award from the Portman Estate after beating 55 other contractors.

TWC carry out work in schools, hospitals, offices and care homes and help firms comply with legislation for the control of legionella in water systems.

The company was presented with the award at the Portman Estate’s annual conference.

The estate covers 110 acres of land within Marylebone, London W1, including Marble Arch, and was first established in 1532.

It has also invested in improving buildings across its area.
