Oxfordshire Business First (OBF) is setting up a new business club to help county firms boost their international presence.

OBF members attending recent events promoting innovation and e-commerce expressed an interest in developing their business overseas.

In response, the board of OBF has joined the Oxfordshire Local Enterprise Partnership in establishing an Oxfordshire International Business Club (OIBC).

The purpose of the club will be to encourage and support Oxfordshire-based businesses seeking to increase their international presence, including but not exclusively, exports.

The OIBC will also build on the experience of the Oxfordshire International Trade Forum. The OIBC says Oxfordshire possesses a great deal of international expertise which could be made available across different sectors.
