A new chief executive has been appointed to lead the South East Midlands Local Enterprise Partnership (SEMLEP).
The body, which aims to promote economic growth by bringing the private and public sectors together, represents areas including north Oxfordshire, Aylesbury Vale and south Northants.
New CEO Daniel Mouawad, former chief executive of business development company pro.manchester, is also chairman of the UK’s Institute of Economic Development.
Mr Mouawad said: “SEMLEP’s ambition, which I am wholly subscribed to, is to be one of the most innovative, successful and high-performing local enterprise partnerships in England.”
Dr Ann Limb, chairman of SEMLEP, said Mr Mouawad had an impressive track record, with a successful career in the private sector and an understanding of the public sector.
