A new regional manager for the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution (RABI) says she is well aware of the challenges and opportunities facing the industry.
Former Bicester Community College student Jenni Thompson, who previously managed Devon and Cornwall for the RABI, is the organisation’s new manager for Bucks, Oxon, Gloucs and Wilts.
She said: “I’m proud of my agricultural roots and throughout my career have promoted agriculture and the countryside with a great passion.
“Having been with RABI since August 2012 and fundraised for them for several years, I am deeply passionate about the important work the charity does and delighted to be able to support my home counties in this.”
Her new role involves promotion and fundraising to support farming families in financial difficulties.
