The award-winning Steeple Claydon Fish Bar is hoping to add another accolade to its name as part of National Chip Week.
National Chip Week runs from February 18 to 24 and as part of that, the public is being encouraged to vote for their favourite chip shop chips or pub/restaurant chips.
The shop with the most votes will win the Choice Chip Award with voters in with a chance to win a chip supper worth £150.
The competition is being run by the Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB) and its Potato Council division.
To vote, people can fill in a form, which is available from the fish bar, or visit the competition website, www.chips.lovepotatoes.co.uk.
Steeple Claydon Fish Bar has been owned and run by Alan Ashley, pictured, for more than seven years and won the Advertiser and Review’s Chippy of the Year competition in 2010.
It was also one of the first food businesses in the region to be presented with an Elite award for health and hygiene in Aylesbury Vale District Council’s Scores on the Doors scheme.
