Think like an entrepreneur with two new workshops

FREE events will be held in Bicester and Banbury early next month for people who want to start a business but have been put off by the prospect of creating a plan.

The workshops being held in Banbury on Monday, July 2, and in Bicester on Tuesday, July 3, have been arranged by Cherwell District Council (CDC).

Enterprise specialist Iain Scott said: “So many people get hung up about plans and finding finance that they get put off.

“These free sessions are about helping you think and act like an entrepreneur. They are great fun and open to anyone from 16 upwards. The aim of the day is to unlock your enterprise potential.”

Councillor Norman Bolster, CDC’s lead member for estates and the economy, said the workshops will give guests confidence and the tools they need to succeed.

Guests will also be able to access further free one-to-one support through the Oxfordshire Business Enterprises service.

Early booking is advised as spaces are limited. Anyone wishing to attend either event should reserve their place at: www.eventbrite.co.uk/event/3619770832 for July 2 in Banbury, or www.eventbrite.co.uk/event/3637150816 for July 3 in Bicester.

Reservations can also be made by emailing economic.development@cherwell-dc.gov.uk or contacting staff on 01295 221855.
