TWO retailers at shops in Bicester have been recognised for their contribution towards keeping crime low.
Neil Maskell, from Marks and Spencer and Sue Wing, from D2, pictured, were nominated by members of the Cherwell Crime Partnership - Bicester for a Certificate of Appreciation after being instrumental in several arrests within the town centre, leading police to offenders on several occasions.
The certificate reads ‘for outstanding participation within Bicester town centre, helping to deter and prevent retail crime.’
The partnership has been running in Bicester since April 2009 and currently has 32 members including stores in the town centre, Bicester Avenue and Bicester Village. It is supported by several organisations.
