STEEPLE Claydon Methodist Church celebrated its 150th anniversary last weekend, beginning with a Flower Festival on the theme of hymns organised by Doreen Teckoe, along with displays of memorabilia.

A buffet supper was organised by lay worker Katy Morris, helped by Rev Steve Fisher and Helen Thorpe of Well Street United Church. Fiona Castle attended and talked about her life with husband Roy and her charity, Global Care.
