CHILDREN can learn some of the tricks of the trade this Saturday and Sunday as the Cirque Normandie visits Bicester.

As well as offering traditional family shows, the non-animal circus is hosting workshops for children aged five to 15. Sessions run from 11am until noon both days.

The circus is based at Bicester Avenue Garden Centre and will hold its final performance this Sunday. Children can learn skills such as acrobatics, diabolo, juggling, and plate spinning, and sessions cost £5 per child.

Performances will start at 7pm tonight, Friday, and at 2.30pm tomorrow, Saturday. The final performance will begin at 2.30pm this Sunday.

Shows are around 90 minutes each including an interval. Tickets are £12 for adults, £10 for children, or £35 for a family of four. Visit www.circusnormandie.co.uk or contact staff on 0845 3882006 for bookings.
