ONE of the country’s leading classical saxophonists was star guest at a concert hosted by an increasingly-popular Bicester orchestra on Sunday.
Trinity Camerata, a small orchestra which relocated from Buckingham to Bicester in 2010, held a concert in St Edburg’s Church featuring saxophone soloist Hayley Lambert, a Royal College of Music graduate who has played with orchestras across the UK.
Committee member Janet Puddick said it had been the group’s best-attended event since relocating to Bicester.
She added: “People have been so supportive locally.”
The group will host an open come-and-play event for local musicians in St Edburg’s Church on Wednesday, November 14, starting at 7.45pm.
