WORLD’S BIGGEST COFFEE MORNING: Two Bicester coffee mornings raised a total of more than £1,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support on Friday.

The annual event hosted by the Littlebury Hotel raised just over £510 to support the work of Macmillan nurses. Organiser Julia Porter-Smith and a team of helpers have raised more than £3,000 since 2003.

And Bicester Avenue Garden Centre raised just over £545 by offering customers hot drinks in return for donations.
