SOUTH NORTHANTS: South Northants Council (SNC) is consulting residents on the expansion of the Alderton, Blakesley and Rothersthorpe conservation area boundaries.

In Blakesley, it is proposed that five modern developments be removed from the conservation area but a property at the end of Old School Lane will be included.

In Rothersthorpe, it is proposed to remove two sections of open land from the conservation area and extend the boundary along Church Street.

The draft plans are available to view at www.southnorthants.gov.uk/688.htm or at SNC’s office in Towcester. Comments and views need to be submitted in writing before December 14.
