Ten people took part in a traditional hedgelaying competition organised by the North West Bucks Agricultural Association on the Tutt family farm in Charndon last Friday.

Contestants aged from their 20s to their 70s used their craftsmanship to create a pleasing, cattle-proof hedge.

The winners, pictured from left, are veteran Albert Hodges, novice Tom Charge, intermediate Sam Charge and Ben Tutt, who won championship, overall and best shot hedge.
