Speed watchers are being called to help make village roads safer after more than 70 per cent of families said speeding was a problem.

The survey was carried out in King’s Sutton and Northants Police is looking for a co-ordinator and helpers.

Speed Watch volunteers would train with police and then spend just a couple of hours once or twice a year using handheld radar guns.
