TOWCESTER’S county councillor Rosemary Bromwich said she will still be able to represent the town effectively despite living more than 250 miles away.
Last month Mrs Bromwich moved to Cornwall after her husband retired.
She said with 15 years experience representing the town, and 40 years living in the Towcester area she is fully equipped to continuing serving her ward until she stands down at the May 2013 election.
Mrs Bromwich said she will still be attending meetings and will send reports to Towcester Town Council and added: “I’m so well versed on what the issues are and know so many people communicating with people is not something I will find difficult.”
