Boys pushed girl, aged 9, into brook

POLICE are searching for three young boys who they believe pushed a nine-year-old girl into a brook as she stood watching ducklings.

The incident took place at 5.45pm on Thursday, July 7 at the recreation ground on Islington Road in Towcester.

The victim was watching the ducklings swim in the brook, which runs alongside the recreation ground and Waitrose car park, when she felt a push in her back and fell into the brook.

She managed to turn around and saw three offenders.

They are all described as white boys aged between 12 and 13 years old.

They were each wearing a hooded-top – one was red, one green and the third one was blue.
