BURGLARY: Large and expensive electrical items were stolen from a house in Ruskin Walk in Bicester last week.

The break-in took place some time between Sunday and Monday.

Police say it is likely the thieves would have been seen removing some large items.

Anyone with information should contact Det Sgt Steve Birchall on the non-emergency number 101.

Residents are reminded to property mark presents and valuables, and to register items on www.immobilise.com.

Homeowners should keep presents out of view, and be careful when using social media such as FaceBook.

Light timers and automatic curtain opening devices can also help keep homes secure, and boxes and wrapping paper should be disposed of discreetly.
