Man charged in connection with burglaries in Padbury and Blisworth

A 59-year-old man has been charged with 11 counts of burglary in connection with a series of crimes that took place between September 2010 and October this year, including one in Padbury and Blisworth.

William Vinson, of Cotswold Terrace, Chipping Norton, was arrested on October 18 in connection with the series of distraction burglaries committed across Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Northamptonshire, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire.

Vinson was remanded to appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on October 19, where he was subsequently remanded to appear back at the same court on November 18.

He was charged in connection with a burglary at an address in Old End, Padbury, on August 22, where a wallet containing £200 and cards were stolen.

He was also charged in connection with a burglary at an address in Connegar Leys, Blisworth, on October 18, where £2,500 was stolen.
