Man in court after meat cleaver attack

A MAN is due to appear at Aylesbury Magistrates Court following an incident involving a meat cleaver.

Ross Le-Mare, 28, of Addington Road, Buckingham has been charged with two counts of assault by beating, one count of possession of an offensive weapon and one count of criminal damage.

He was arrested in connection with an incident on Chandos Road, on June 19 where a car was damaged with a meat cleaver and a man and a woman were assaulted. He is due to appear in front of magistrates on July 19.

Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) spokesman, Jacqui Broadbridge, said: “I can confirm that the CPS has advised charging Ross Le-Mare, 28, of Addington Road, Buckingham, with two counts of assault by beating; one count of possessing an offensive weapon and one count of criminal damage to property valued under £5,000.

“These charges are in relation to alleged offences which took place on June 19 in Chandos Road, Buckingham.”

Le-Mare first appeared in court on June 21 and was remanded in custody. He appeared at Aylesbury Magistrates’ Court again on June 27 for a remand hearing.
