Police are appealing for witnesses after a 32 year-old man was pushed to the floor and kicked repeatedly during an assault in Garth Park, Bicester on Saturday.

The attack occurred between 5pm and 7pm when the victim was approached from behind by three men. They pushed him to the floor and assaulted him. When the victim got to his feet he was kicked to the ground again.

As the victim ran away from his attackers he dropped a white Samsung S6 from his pocket, it is believed the offenders took this.

The offenders were white, one had blonde hair and one wore a white T shirt.

Investigating officer, PC Tina Maulson from Bicester police station, said “The park was very busy at this time so it is possible that the incident was witnessed by a number of people. If you saw this incident or have any information regarding this please do get in contact via the non emergency 101 enquiry centre.”
