Police appeal after woman attacked

A WOMAN was attacked near the Riverside building in Towcester on Friday last week.

Northants Police are appealing for witnesses to the attack which happened at around 7.10pm, on Islington Road. The woman was approached by an unknown man, who grabbed her and pushed her into a wooden barrier, leaving her with minor injuries.

The man is described as black, aged between 38 and 40, 6ft tall with a muscular build. He has short black hair with a tight perm and three red and black beads on the left side and was wearing a green beanie style hat, black hooded jacket with red stripes down both arms, blue round neck T-shirt, blue denim jeans and white trainers. He spoke with a Cockney accent.
