Police talk about tackling rural crime

crime prevention: Home Farm in Middle Claydon was the venue for a Rural Crime Prevention Day hosted by Thames Valley Police and the National Farmers Union yesterday, Thursday.

Insp Emma Garside welcomed 30 delegates, who then heard from suppliers of Cesar farm equipment marking systems, CCTV company Crimewave Solutions and Winslow company Oak Park Alarms. They also heard about police initiatives Operation Shovel and Operation Precious, to tackle vehicle and metal thefts.
