SOUTH Northants will be flying the flag for British servicemen during a special ceremony on Monday.

In the build up to Armed Forces Day on Saturday, June 25 South Northants Council will hosting a ceremony outside the offices in Springfield and are inviting district residents to attend.

The special falg will be rasied during the ceremony and will remain on dispaly all week.

SNC chairman Sally Townsend said: “Flag flying from our council building will serve as a reminder of our Armed Forces, giving the recognition to their services.

The ceremony starts at 10.30am on Monday, June 20 and will be attended by the RBL and ATC.
