THE Cooper School and Glory Farm School in Bicester could join forces as a new federation from September.
Governing bodies of both schools have started talking to parents about becoming a federation, which would mean sharing resources, facilities and expertise.
Paul Ducker, headteacher of Glory Farm, said the two schools have worked together frequently over a number of years.
Ben Baxter, headteacher of The Cooper School, said he was convinced the federation was the best way forward, but said both governing bodies would have to agree the move.
Meetings for parents will be held at Glory Farm on March 26 at 6.30pm and at Cooper School on March 27 at 6.30pm.
Governing bodies will meet on May 2 to make a decision. If agreed, the new federation could start on September 1.
