CHILDREN as young as two years old helped to raise more than £100 for school funds during a Easter Bonnet Parade and singing performance to parents just before the Easter break.
Children at Syresham Pre-School learned six songs off by heart including seasonal favourites such as Hot Cross Buns and Old MacDonald Had a Farm.
One parent said: “It was lovely, the children sang beautifully.”
The day also included a guess the number of eggs in jar competiton which raised £40 on its own, a cake stall, an egg decorating competition and a raffle.
Sam Humphries, chair of the Syresham Pre-School Committee said: “We believe the day made around £110 with all the money going towards a reading corner with books, shelves, rugs and cushions. We feel the whole day was a great success.”
